Previous editions of Rising Tide have included keynote speakers David Simon (former journalist and creator of the television programs The Wire and Treme), Richard Campanella (author of Bourbon Street, Geographies of New Orleans and Bienville's Dilemma), and writer/actor/part-time New Orleans resident Harry Shearer.
