Rum Culinary Symposium: A History of Rum in the New World

A Historic New Orleans Collection's (HNOC) symposium on rum starts with a happy hour reception at Palace Cafe on Friday. The symposium features keynote speaker Jessica B. Harris (Rum: a Historian a Glass), New York Times drinks writer Rosie Schaap, rum distillers, bartenders Abigail Gullo, Nick Detrich, and Shannon Mustipher, and others.
