   New Orleans jazz musician Jon Batiste will be the bandleader for Stephen Colbert's Late Show band this fall when Colbert succeeds David Letterman for the coveted CBS gig. The 28-year-old Kenner native is a New Orleans Center for Creative Arts graduate, and the duo cut up on Colbert's former show, The Colbert Report, when Batiste appeared on that show last year. The new Late Show airs Sept. 8.
