The questions in the title were ridiculous. There's an exit that puts you right into Elmwood. The expressway ends and becomes a surface street in Leonidas/Mid City.
I think the second half of the article is missing.
If you look toward Montagut Street from the N. Robertson railroad viaduct, you can still see a big water tower with a very old 7-up logo painted on the side of it.

Thanks for always referring to our airport as Moisant Airport (now known as...).
Nothing against Louis Armstrong, but John Moisant was an aviator and he died where our airport is located and as far as I'm concerned, Moisant is the only legitimate name for our airport.
Keep up the good work and don't let people forget where Moisant Airport is!
