Yes! I've always thought of Wilson's cycle of plays as a wonderful lens on something that used to be called "America." I know, I know, it's wise to focus on the racial aspects of his stories. But truly August Wilson transcends the banal, and Denzel Washington is clearly the person to bring the plays to "film." Message to some Trumpistas Plutocrat: buy out the rest of Denzel Washington's career and help him enact Wilson's completely relevant vision.
