Tet Lunar New Year

Mary Queen of Vietnam Church (14001 Dwyer Blvd., 254-5660) holds the area's largest Tet lunar new year celebration this weekend. The festival is a wonderland for anyone interested in Vietnamese cuisine. Beneath massive tents, church parishioners sell pho with noodles, banh mi sandwiches, spring rolls, a variety of goat dishes and desserts. The celebration has a festival atmosphere with bands, fashion shows, children's rides, crafts and games. The festival runs from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. Friday, Feb. 19, and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 20 and Feb. 21.
