Cocktails from the 1970s make a comeback 

"If made well, the disco drinks can be awesome."

Naren Young, beverage director at New York City bar Empellon, talking to The Wall Street Journal's Kara Newman about modern takes on disco-era drinks like the Harvey Wallbanger and pina colada. "The 1970s is unexplored territory for the latest generation of drinkers," Newman wrote. "Imbibers under 35 — the bulk of bar-goers — don't attach the same stigma to these drinks that more mature drinkers might. During a panel at the annual Tales of the Cocktail conference in New Orleans this past July, authors David Wondrich and Jeff Berry discussed 'Why Cocktails from the 1970s and 1980s Sucked.'"
