Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley
Wed.-Sun. Nov. 29-Dec. 23 | Southern Rep presents Lauren Gunderson and Margot Melcon's comic sequel to Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice, set during the holidays two years after the marriage of Fitzwilliam Darcy and Elizabeth Bennet, as bookish Mary Bennet takes center stage. At 7:30 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday and Monday and 3 p.m. Sunday at Loyola University's Marquette Theatre.

Stop Making Sense
Sat. Dec. 2 | BYO big suit for Shotgun Cinema's third annual screening of Jonathan Demme's groundbreaking Talking Heads concert film, acting as a soundtrack to a dance party with food from Gattone Grasso, a pop-up thrift shop from The Good, the Bad, and the Fugly, and bike valet service from Bike Easy. At 6 p.m. at Court 13 Arts (2801 Franklin Ave.).
