J. Wayne Leonard
was named a recipient of the United Way of Southeast Louisiana's Alexis de Tocqueville Award, the organization's highest honor. donated $500 each to the New Orleans Women and Children's Shelter, Ronald McDonald House and American Cancer Society in July as part of four Sprint store openings in the New Orleans area.

U.S. Rep. Mo Brooks,
a Republican running for U.S. Attorney Gen. Jeff Sessions' Senate seat in Alabama, used audio from the shooting of Louisiana Congressman Steve Scalise in a campaign ad aired last week. Using the tragedy that befell Scalise for political gain is shameless and inexcusable.
