In Puccini's classic opera, political intrigue is the backdrop in a tale of love between the singer Floria Tosca and painter Mario Cavaradossi, who harbors the fugitive Angelotti. When Cavaradossi is imprisoned and tortured, Baron Scarpia offers to spare him if Tosca will submit to him. Tickets $45 and up.
