Trapido for President 

  Dr. Edward Trapido, deputy director of the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center (LSUHSC) Stanley S. Scott Cancer Center, has been elected president of the American College of Epidemiology (ACE). He will serve a one-year term as president-elect before becoming president for a year.

  Trapido is associate dean for research at LSUHSC and the Wendell H. Gauthier Chair of Epidemiology at LSU's School of Public Health.

  ACE is a national group that addresses professional concerns of epidemiologists, sponsors scientific meetings, publications and educational activities, recognizes outstanding contributions to the field and advocates for relevant issues.
