Wine of the Week 

This sparkling wine from Sonoma Valley, created by the same family that makes those lovely Jordan Chardonnays and Cabernet Sauvignons, is fashioned with equally high measures of care, quality and finesse. A long, mild growing season produced an excellent vintage from estate grown grapes in premium Northern California vineyards. In the glass, the wineÕs delicate little bubbles carry aromatics of pear, sweet spices and roasted almonds to the nose. On the palate, touches of biscuit dough and citrus flavors intermingle. Lively and refreshing, the wine exhibits perfect acid balance. A wonderful beverage with hors dÕoeuvres such as foie gras, smoked salmon and shellfish.
