Wine of the Week 

A highly rated and value-priced selection, this wine from the Aragon region's Calatayud appellation in northeastern Spain is made from grapes grown at optimum conditions at a 2,500-foot altitude in a dry climate on mountainside vineyards. The result is a full-bodied, well-structured wine of intense aromas, surprising depth and soft tannins. In the mouth, fruit-forward flavors of plum, raspberry and red cherry are tinged with hints of pepper and spice with an acid-balanced finish. A good accompaniment to grilled meats and vegetables, roast lamb, burgers, pasta and paella.
