Wine of the Week 

Pinot Gris, the same grape as Pinot Grigio, can vary widely depending on the country and growing region. Under the guidance of MacMurrayÕs talented winemaker, Susan Doyle, the varietal expresses great finesse, elegance and intensity. Grapes for this well-crafted wine are fermented in stainless steel to maintain the bright fruit flavors and bouquet. In the glass, aromas of peach, fig and pear give way to a rich core of melon and tropical fruit with citrus and spice notes and a crisp acid balance. ItÕs a versatile wine, good as an aperitif or with foie gras, pasta with light sauces, sautŽed scallops and soft shell crabs.
