NOMA announces John Waters Film Festival

The New Orleans Museum of Art (NOMA) will present a John Waters Film Festival on five consecutive Friday nights from July 21 to August 18. The screenings are presented in conjunction with the exhibition Pride of Place: The Making of Contemporary Art in New Orleans, which features photographs by Waters. All the films start at 7 p.m. Tickets are free to NOMA members and teens age 13-19; adult tickets are $12; senior and active military tickets are $10; university student tickets are $8; tickets for children age 7-12 are $6; and children younger than seven can attend for free. July 28 — Polyester (1981)

August 4 — Hairspray (1988)

August 11 — Cry Baby (1990)

August 18 — Pecker (1998)
