Poke Loa (3341 Magazine St., 504-309-9993), the city’s first restaurant dedicated to the trendy raw fish dish, is expanding with a second location in Old Metairie this fall.

The Magazine Street fast-casual raw fish hub opened in February, selling mix-and-match bowls of fish, rice, greens and toppings. Restaurants around the city also offer versions of the raw fish dish.

Poke Loa announced Monday that it will open its second shop in the Old Metairie Village shopping complex at 701 Metairie Road. The new location will have the same build-your-own assembly-line service, as well as a mochi bar offering several flavors (mango, plum, green tea) of the Japanese sticky rice and ice cream.

The Metairie Road Poke Loa location will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.
