You can bring supplies for sexual assault survivors to New Orleans libraries in March

Some New Orleans Public Library (NOPL) locations will collect supplies for survivors of sexual assault during the month of March.

Donations of new T-shirts, socks, underwear, scrubs, and flip flops will be accepted through March 24 at several NOPL branches throughout the area, including the Main Library (219 Loyola Ave.); Algiers Regional Library (3014 Holiday Drive, Algiers); Alvar Library (913 Alvar St.); East New Orleans Regional Library (5641 Read Blvd.); Rosa F. Keller Library and Community Center (4300 S. Broad Ave.); and Mid-City Library (4140 Canal St.).

The drive being coordinated by New Orleans Sexual Assault Response Team (SART), which supports survivors of sexual violence.
