Singer-songwriter Neko Case hits the road this summer in support of her forthcoming album Hell-On, her first solo album since 2013. She'll perform at the Civic Theatre on Tuesday, Sept. 11. Thao Nguyen of Thao & the Get Down Stay Down opens.

Case's Grammy-nominated, soul-bearing 2013 album The Worse Things Get, the Harder I Fight, the Harder I Fight, the More I Love You is followed by her self-produced 2018 LP Hell-On, out June 1 on Anti- Records and promising "withering self-critique, muted reflection, anthemic affirmation and Neko’s unique poetic sensibility."

In 2016, Case teamed up with k.d. lang and Laura Veirs for folk trio case/lang/veirs for an acclaimed self-titled album and a tour that hit New Orleans that summer. Case returned in 2017 for an intimate show at Preservation Hall followed by a reunion with indie rock supergroup The New Pornographers at Tipitina's.

Tickets are $30-$45 and go on sale 10 a.m. Friday, April 20. Presales begin 10 a.m. Wednesday, April 18. One dollar from each ticket sale benefits Peer Solutions.
